Junior Debate at Krayon Park

Junior Debate is an in-person weekly class where students learn the foundations of debate through engaging, fast-paced debate duels.

Students learn how to build a strong argument, give clear reasons, listen to different perspectives, and respond thoughtfully with confidence.

Through playful topics and structured debate rounds, students develop the core skills behind effective debate:

• organizing ideas

• supporting opinions with examples

• responding to opposing viewpoints

• respectful disagreement

• partner collaboration

• confident delivery

• thinking on their feet

Junior Debate is designed to make debate approachable and exciting for younger students while building the communication and critical-thinking skills they will carry into future debate, leadership, and academic experiences.

Debate Duel Showcase

Every Junior Debate student participates in a culminating Debate Duel Showcase in front of a parent audience.

Semester students complete one final debate experience.

Full-year students continue building stronger arguments, sharper responses, and more confident delivery before participating in a second culminating debate round.

14 Sessions: $495
