Rising Debate is an in-person weekly class for students who are ready to move beyond beginner debate and strengthen their argumentation, reasoning, rebuttal, and speaking skills.
Designed as the next step after Junior Debate, this class helps students develop more structured thinking while continuing to build confidence through engaging Debate Duels and guided debate rounds.
Students learn how to:
Build stronger, more organized arguments
Support ideas with relevant reasons and examples
Listen closely and understand opposing viewpoints
Identify weaknesses in an argument
Develop clearer rebuttals
Create stronger openings and conclusions
Respond thoughtfully under pressure
Disagree respectfully and productively
The focus is not simply on speaking more — it is on thinking more carefully, explaining ideas clearly, and responding with purpose.
Every Rising Debate student participates in a culminating Debate Duel or mini debate showcase.
Semester students complete one final debate experience.
Full-year students continue developing stronger reasoning, sharper rebuttals, and more confident delivery before participating in a second culminating debate round.

Full-Year Enrollment: $995
